The 3-star Hotel Hof Weidelbach is located between Kassel and Marburg in the “Schwalm” and, statistically speaking, is one of the 10 regions with the highest proportion of green in Germany. Due to its proximity to the A 49 (15 km), A 5 (25 km) and A 7 (23 km) autobahns, it can be easily reached by car. Arriving by train is also possible through the Treysa train station, which is only 5 km away. The hotel has 21 generously equipped and partially handicapped accessible rooms, which are divided into single and double rooms as well as an apartment and a wedding suite.
Located in the middle of forest, meadows and fields, the hotel is ideal for families and nature lovers, as well as for lovers or active vacationers. The wide range of sports, cultural and leisure opportunities rounds off your stay. Decide whether you prefer to discover the area by bike, on foot, on horseback, on “inline skates” or from a glider. Nearby attractions such as the Willingshausen painters’ colony or the local museum in Ziegenhain round off your visit. However, lovers of the cinema, pubs and concert scenes will not miss out either.
Due to the direct location on the Hessian long-distance cycle route R4, the hotel is particularly interesting for cyclists as a stage destination or for a longer active holiday.
The service of the hotel
The Hotel Hof Weidelbach has three daylight-flooded event rooms for up to 70 people. The all-round support, which ranges from catering for discerning palates to suggestions for supporting programs, to support with ticket bookings and transfers, also meets the highest requirements. A highly individual service tailored to your needs rounds off the offer. Extensive conference technology is of course available to you.
A little story about Hof Weidelbach
In 1952 Heinrich Vogel and his wife Elisabeth bought the agricultural property, where they ran a small catering for excursionists. In 1961 they opened the “Hof Weidelbach” restaurant after extensive expansion and new construction.
In 1964, daughter Heidi and her husband Hans-Walter Ziegler took over the popular excursion and family restaurant and expanded it continuously over the years. In addition, there was a bowling alley, a hall for family celebrations, partially handicapped-accessible rooms in the hotel and a beer garden under shady trees.
Holiday guests will find a charming recreational landscape and a wide range of leisure activities in the area of the Kurhessischer Bergland.
